Overview

Good Coffee is a short film made to practise composition and camera movement. I built a simple story around those shots so the technique had something to serve.
The Challenge
The biggest limit was gear. I didn't have a cinema camera, so I shot the whole film on a Canon EOS M3, a mirrorless camera that isn't built with filmmaking in mind.
The Process
I planned each shot around its framing and how the camera would move through the scene. Music and sound design carried a large share of the mood, so I gave them as much attention as the picture to shape the overall experience.
