Overview
I design YouTube thumbnails for the China Admissions channel and for Richard Coward's channel. The videos cover studying in China, doing business there and life as a foreigner.
The Process
A good thumbnail is not only about looks. Its job is to catch the viewer's eye in a crowded feed and show at a glance what the video is about.
I build each one in Adobe Photoshop and Canva, then we run A/B tests to see which title and thumbnail pairing earns more clicks.
